FFF : Goodbye March

If you're new here, FFF is my Five Friday Favourites. 

A simple weekly post outlining 5 things I favorited the previous week. 

1). It's been Easter, so of course that means lots of chocolate! For most of us time off of work, and a bank holiday which means lots of fun! 
2). A complete fluke but I booked some Annual Leave, it happened to fall on Easter and Bank Holiday so I've spent some well needed me time and family quality time. The weekend was spent with friends and partying. It's been great! 

3). If you follow me on Twitter you would have seen a tweet about me wanting to go and see Beyonce on Tour, and if you know me personally then you would know that I adore Beyonce. Well I only went and bagged myself 2 tickets to her London show! Thanks to KISS FM - I'm completely stoked and cannot wait to go!! Roll on July!!! 

4). I am completely obsessed with Pretty Little Liars. Ever since my friends Shelbi and Chelsea introduced me to the program I haven't stopped watching. I'm super proud that I've not been watching for long and I've just hit series 6 and I'm halfway through! I've never in my entire life been so stuck on a TV Series before, I've never experienced so many bloody emotions either!! 

5). I've done a lot of thinking lately, and I've had the chance to contemplate a lot of things and I've been hit by the Realization bus, perhaps a little too hard but I guess everything happens for a reason - right? I know now that I need to continue, I don't need to look back anymore. I need to surround myself with positive energy and everything will be okay.

My Week In Pictures April 14th - 20th

  Monday April 14th 

I spent the day with my friend Ashley holiday shopping. We headed out at 6am in the morning and didn't get home until gone 6pm. I was completely shattered! We headed out to Bexley heath, Woolwich and Dartford. It was a fantastic day, very tiring but it was lovely to get off the Island that I live on and be surrounded by a little more buzz. We also stopped off for a Nando's for lunch. Ashley hadn't experienced Nandos before today so I figured the picture was relevant. 

Tuesday April 15th 

I found out some rather exciting news! I applied for a new position at work. I'm staying within the same company but moving to a new house which will benefit me in several different ways. I finish at my current place on the 28th (then go away on holiday) and when I'm back I start my new job!! Overjoyed is an understatement. 

Wednesday April 16th 

I was contacted last week by my local Newspaper and asked to take part in the 'My Island' section in the paper. I agreed and this was my little piece in this weeks paper! I was honoured to be asked and really pleased with the write up!! 

Thursday April 17th 

A little something that's kept me on track this week. After someone from the past come out the woodwork. I'm positively happier without you, and I'm not back tracking to a point of no return. Take note ladies and gentlemen!! Do NOT sell yourself short by settling for what they have to offer. 

Friday April 18th 

The count down continues .... 12 days until I'm in Tenerife! On my first holiday abroad ... EVER!!! 

Saturday April 19th 

I posted it. Feel free to copy and paste onto your social media ... I work with Adults with Learning Disabilities and I felt it only right to support Special Education Week.  I also done a 12 hour shift at work so I didn't have anything else to put here because I working!! 

Sunday April 20th 

Another week, another cake!! I didn't make this one though, I didn't have time. This is shop brought, thanks to TESCO. At work we threw an Easter Party / BBQ and this delicious cake was our centre piece. I hope you all had a lovely Easter with your families! I spent mine with my second family at work.
