Birthday Outfit Search FT Asos, Simply Be & Yours Clothing.

Hello my beauties!

So I've recently decided to plan a birthday party, in just over 2 months I will be turning 21!!
Originally I wasn't going to have a party, but I have chosen to throw a bash for my 21st, as it will most probably be my last one.

As a plus size women, its frustratingly hard to go to high-street stores and expect to find a outfit that you like, let alone fits you perfectly in all the right places. So I tend to do my clothes shopping online.

I have created some boards filled with some ideas for my outfit.

Just as a side note, I'm throwing a 'Black and White' themed party so my outfit needs to either be 'Black or White' or something that's going to really pop and stand out from everyone else, because of course I want to be the centre of attention *haha*

1 - Dip Hem Maxi Dress
£30.00
3- Koko Dip Hem Dress
£39.00

I have already purchased a few of these dresses to try on and judge, and I'll update this post when I have done so but they are all certainly 'saved' for pay-day and then I'll purchase a few more, providing I haven't already found 'the one' which could result in me finding my birthday outfit straight away .... or make me cry!

What do you think?
Any you particularly like?

Blogmas Day 18 ; NYE Outfit Inspiration [ASOS]

This year I feel an outfit isn't as necessary as the others because I am throwing a party instead of hitting town, so if a few drinks get spilt or I gather a few ladders in them damned tights I can run upstairs and get changed. Never the less, I wanted to share with you some of my Plus Size findings for this years NYE Outfits.

ASOS.

ASOS have a great selection of Dresses. I have selected a few and posted them below. I have tried to select a collection which has variety. There are some colourful pieces, colour blocked pieces and simple and sophisticated dresses. All dresses are available online and range from size 18 - 28.
You can click on the picture of the dress to be re-directed to their website.

Blogmas Day 9 ; Plus Sized Christmas Attire for Her.

Without doubt my favorite time of the year (as mentioned many times before!!)
Christmas is all about family, joy, happiness, coming together and of course stuffing your face with all the magical food that vanishes throughout the year! But lets not forget the important things too *hehe* I have a few things from previous years which I love but I've been on the search for some new Plus Sized Christmas Attire for 2014.

If you're a larger lady you'll understand how hard it can be to 'fit in' whether it be for special occasions, festive occasions and even to be on trend and up to date with the latest fashion, even more so if you're on a budget.

The following items have been found for a budget, as I of all people know how expensive clothes shopping can be if you're larger than a UK size 18.

Let the festivity begin ...

Firstly I had a browse on Evans. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't always shop here, purely because of the price. I find their clothing to be so expensive. Although the limited pieces I do have from Evans have lasted well, and I think you have to be really careful when shopping here because their clothes are too true to size. Which sounds totally ludicrous, as to why I'm complaining I just think usually I have to buy a size up to just be 'safe' in-case it doesn't fit but with Evans I find everything is so true to size, I have to remind myself when buying. Otherwise I'd end up with huge items for an old habit!

Evans Navy Owl Christams T-Shirt

Price: £20.00Size: 14 - 32

Evans Grey Snowflake Jumper

Evans Mint Snowman Jumper

Price: £35.00

Size: 14 - 32

Evans Red Penguin Motif  Jumper

Evans Grey Penguin  Jumper

Personally I haven't ordered from Marisota before, so I can't offer any advice or top tips but they seem to have a few nice pieces on their website. Some aren't to my taste, but its worth having a nose around. I found some bargains online though!!

Fairisle Hat

Price: £10.00

Snowflake Reindeer Print Christmas Jersey Tunic

    Price:£12

    Size:Size: 12-32

    Reindeer Print Jersey Christmas Tunic

    Price:£12

    Size: 12-32

Pretty Secrets Deer Print Woven Pyjamas

    Price:£25

    Size:12-32

I must be honest when I say I'm not a huge fan of New Look clothes, I find they come up really small and don't have much give. I know any of my friends who are a size 8-18 also find this the same, so it's not just a problem with their Plus Size range, but neither the less they do have some brilliant pieces to offer, so its worth a browse!

Inspire Black Glitter Tree Christmas Slogan T-Shirt

    Price:£7.99

    Size: 18 - 28

Inspire Black Ho Ho Ho Pug T-Shirt
    Price:£7.99
    Size: 18 - 28

Inspire Dark Grey Elfie Selfie Kitten T-Shirt

    Price:£7.99

    Size: 18 - 28

Inspire Red Holidays Are Coming T-Shirt

    Price:£12.99
    Size: 18 - 28

I simply cannot rate ASOS highly enough. Pretty much my entire wardrobe is via their online shop. They stock other retailers also, but personally I love the ASOS range, which all of the following items are from. The sizing is perfect and all the clothes are so comfortable!!

    :
ASOS CURVE Exclusive Christmas Jumper With Rockin Robin

    Price: £32.00

    Size: 18-26

    :
ASOS CURVE Exclusive Cardigan With Christmas Fairisle
    Price:£32.00

    Size: 18-26

Again, I highly recommend YOURS. Sizing is perfect and the quality of clothing is great, also. Its a little hit and miss with the price though, you can often get some amazing bargains but other times the clothes are awfully expensive for what they are.

Black Christmas Pudding Glitter Print Top With Ruched Sides

Blogmas Day 2 ; My Christmas Wishlist.

Welcome to Blogmas Day 2 and welcome to my ever expanding Wishlist!!

It normally gets to September and I am badgering everyone to have their wishlists and ideas for Christmas because I am so overly organised when it comes to The Big Day! I think I was finished my Christmas shopping, wrapped and tagged by the second week in October *awkward laugh*

I cannot even blame it on being super organised because I am not at the slightest. I just love Christmas so much!! The only downfall to this is you forget what you've brought so you end up buying people too much and spoiling everyone, causing a big break in your bank balance but hey! It's once a year - right?

     photo ShannonSnowglobe_zps0msniwmb.gif
Anyway, when it comes to me and people asking what I want for Christmas I have no idea! Not even now, a few weeks until the big day and I still have no real idea of what I want! I think I just love giving so much, its not about receiving for me (I love getting gifts of course, don't get me wrong!! It's just so exciting seeing people's faces when they receive something they've been wanting for so long, especially the kids!!)

So I've decided to sit down and browse the web and create a wishlist to share with not only you guys but my family and friends too, lets keep our fingers crossed I gain a few of these beauties and you can read all about them in future posts.

    1.]  MUA - 12 Shade Undressed Palette.
This is supposed to be a drugstore dupe of The Naked Palette. I've watched a few swatches videos and the comparison is crazy! Pretty much every colour is the exact same, and this palette even has some more pigmentation than The Naked Palette!! For the sake of an extra £30 I'll be happy with the dupe! It's only £4 and exclusive to Superdrug or you can find it on the MUA website

    2.]  Tattoo Voucher.
If this was a competition of some sort, I'd have lost. I know I won't be getting this for Christmas because I have the prize already *squeals with excitement* On 14th November I went and had my Tattoo done, but in my defense it was part of my Christmas present from my Mother. I had a bigger than anticipated piece done on my back/shoulder in memory of some loved ones. I'll be posting about this soon, so keep your eyes pealed to see it.

3.] Real Techniques - Nics Picks Brush Set.
I have recently treated myself to the 3 main sets of Real Technique brushes and I am in love. I also brought the foundation sponge and that's as equally amazing. I want the entire collection, so to build on this I have to have this Brush Set - right? This amazing set includes the following Duo-Fiber Face Brush, Cheek Brush (Exclusive to this set) Angeled Shadow Brush (Exclusive to this set), Base Shadow Brush and Eyeliner Brush (Exclusive to this set) This set can be brought in a variety of stores and online but from the Real Techniques website it's just £19.22!

    4.]  Money, Money, Money!
I really detest asking for Money at Christmas, even Birthdays but at the moment every little helps when it comes to driving lessons. I passed my theory back on April 1st 2014 and I am racing against time to get back on track with my lessons. I work such silly hours in my new job I haven't had the time or patience so I'm looking at booking a week off work next year and just booking 10 more lessons and my test - wish me luck!!

    5.]  UGG Boots.
I'm not someone to ooze over name branded things. In fact, I'd rather spend the amount spent on a pair of UGG boots on something more 'pro-active' for example, Driving Lessons/Test but with my job requiring me to be on my feet for 8/9 hours at a time I need comfortable shoes and you can't get much more comfortable than UGG's - right? These's can be brought in a variety of stores and online but from Schuh.co.uk they range from £74.99 to £109.99!
    6.]  Real Techniques -Stippling Brush.
Again, same reason as #3. I just love, love, love them and cannot get enough!!
Give me more brushes!! This can be brought in a variety of stores and online but from the Real Techniques website it's just £6.41!

7.]  Gavin and Stacey - The Complete Collection DVD Boxset.
I simply cannot get enough! From day one I have watched Gavin and Stacey and this was on my list last year but I received a different box set (also on my list) so it's back for a second round (fingers crossed) I just find it hilarious. I cannot get enough of all the characters, and the funniest thing is I can relate each character to someone I know or have known in the past which is ridiculously funny!! I have been to Cardiff and have been a tourist where they film Gavin and Stacey which was so surreal, bloody brilliant! Whats occurring Nessa?  Currently TESCO.com are doing a special offer and the complete set is just £10!!

    8.]  ASOS - Gift Card.
Being a Plus Sized babe, I need to know my clothing needs will be catered too!! ASOS have some beautiful pieces at the moment. I recently purchased a gorgeous LBD from their ready for my Staff Christmas Party this week (look out for related post) They just make me feel beautiful. Their clothes fit so nicely, and they don't charge over the top amounts like other Plus Sized merchants. So rather than Money for clothes, I'd like a Gift Card for ASOS.

9.]   Real Techniques -Duo Fibre Brush Collection.
Another brush from the amazing Real Techniques collection, and the last one I have to get to complete my collection!! This set contains Duo Fiber Face Brush, Duo Fiber Contour Brush and Duo Fiber Eye Brush and can be brought in a variety of stores and online but from the Real Techniques website they're just £12.82!

I'd love to know what you've asked for this year, what's on your wishlist for 2014?
Are you ready for Christmas yet?
